Changelog
What has shipped, when, and what it changed for launchers and recipients. Anything that affects your money is recorded here rather than announced once and forgotten.
29 September 2026First release
- Launching. Tokens are created on pump.fun from your own wallet, with 1 to 6 X accounts sharing the creator fees. The transaction is built and checked in your browser and simulated before you sign, the recipients and shares are written into the token’s IPFS metadata before you sign it, and a token is listed only after the server has read the confirmed transaction back from the chain, by your browser or by a recovery job if the tab was closed. See Launching a token.
- One creator address per token. Every launch gets its own creator address, derived from one master seed, so each token’s fees collect in a vault of their own that anyone can read on Solscan. See Per-token vaults.
- Sweeps credited from the sweep transaction. Vaults holding 0.01 SOL or more are swept on a schedule, bonding curve and PumpSwap together. Credits are the amounts in pump.fun’s collect events, plus any fees somebody else collected into the token’s creator address, read from the same transaction. The platform keeps 20% of each sweep; recipients share the rest. See Sweeps.
- Claiming with X. Recipients sign in with X and are paid in SOL to a wallet they choose, from 0.01 SOL, with the network fee paid by the platform. Money belongs to the X user id, so it survives a rename and does not follow a handle to a new owner. See Claiming with X.
- Routing. Hold, Autopay from 0.05 SOL, or Burn, and a public Decline. See Routing.
- Proof of reserves and a public ledger. The treasury balance is compared with everything it owes at request time, and every launch, sweep, payout and burn is listed with its signature. See Proof of reserves.
- Public API. Read-only JSON for tokens, accounts, totals, the ledger and the proof, with lamports as decimal strings. See API overview.
What gets recorded here
Every change that alters the terms you launched or were named under, whether or not it is convenient to publish:
- A change to the default platform share. Tokens already launched keep theirs, and the entry says so.
- A change to the sweep, claim, autopay or burn thresholds, or to the treasury reserve.
- A new treasury address, and why it changed.
- Buyback being switched on or off, and the platform token’s address when published.
- Any change forced by pump.fun: a new creator fee rate, a program change, a pause of sweeps while we adapt.
- Breaking API changes. Added fields are not breaking; ignore fields you do not recognise.
The money itself does not depend on this log being complete. Every sweep, payout and burn is a public transaction, and the ledger lists each one with its signature.
